🔥 The Matrix DTF Master Settings

  • Temperature: 300°F - 320°F (Depends on your heat press accuracy)
  • Time: 10 to 15 Seconds
  • Pressure: Heavy / Firm (60 PSI or 8-9 on a manual press)
  • Peel: Hot or Cold (We recommend waiting 2-3 seconds for a clean Hot Peel)

Step-by-Step Application Guide

Step 1: Pre-Press Your Garment Place your blank apparel (T-shirt, hoodie, etc.) on the heat press. Press it completely blank for 3 to 5 seconds. This critical step removes moisture from the fabric and flattens out any wrinkles, creating a perfectly flat canvas for the transfer.

Step 2: Position & Press Place your Matrix DTF transfer on the garment with the vibrant design facing up. Cover it with a piece of parchment paper or a Teflon sheet to protect your heat press platen. Press down with Heavy Pressure at 300°F - 320°F for 10-15 seconds.

Step 3: The Peel (Hot or Cold) Matrix DTF transfers are incredibly versatile.

  • For Hot Peel: Open the press, wait 2 to 3 seconds for the initial blast of heat to escape, and peel the film in one smooth, confident motion from the corner.
  • For Cold Peel: Remove the garment from the press, let it cool completely to room temperature, and peel.

Step 4: The Crucial Second Press (Do Not Skip) Once the film is peeled off, the ink is on the shirt, but it needs to be sealed into the fabric fibers for maximum durability. Place your parchment paper or Teflon sheet directly over the exposed design and press again for 5 seconds. This removes the glossy sheen, melts the adhesive deep into the fabric, and gives it that soft, premium retail feel.

💡 Pro Troubleshooting Tips

  • Design isn't sticking to the shirt? Your pressure is too light, or your heat press is running colder than the display shows. Increase your pressure to "Heavy" and try bumping the temp up by 10°F.
  • 100% Polyester or Poly-Blends? To avoid dye migration or scorching synthetic fabrics, drop your temperature to 275°F - 285°F and increase your press time to 15-20 seconds.
